"Angel bombing" Ipswich!

St Mary le Tower is working with other Ipswich churches this Advent and Christmas seasons to “Angel Bomb” Ipswich.

There will be all sorts of Angel projects going on, and as part of our preparations for the Christmas Tree festival: "Trees @ the Tower" we have chosen to try to make a chain of Angels holding hands and encircling our church. We will be able to display these around the boundaries of the St Mary le Tower.

The Choristers and Choral Scholars will be getting involved, but we wanted everyone who can join in to make some. We will laminate them to make them weatherproof and join them all together in a continuous chain. The hope is that we can make enough to go right around the boundary!
We hope that the Angel chain will be a joyful symbol of caring and unity and say something about how we can work together to bring God’s peace and joy to others. Please do pick up a set of instructions and some paper from church, (available from this Sunday 7th Nov) or download a set of instructions here
